  1. He is also an excellent person. I met him when I was a child and he was a star in a summer camp. He was truly inspirational, together with Sergio Luyk and Lalo Garcia. It is impressive how good he was at certain aspects of the game. I hope he can place CB Valladolid on the first division again as he is doing a great work with them now as the club president.

  2. I had the pleasure of watching him play on several occasion. Mike is a personable individual who has lived basketball from a youmg age. He is an ace on the court with a basketball IQ that is remarkably unbelievable. He was like that from his a young age all the way through his career. I think there was a lot Mike Hansen brought to the ACB and other leagues he played in. An incredible player.

  4. I had the opportunity to know Mike at University Heights Academy in Hopkinsville, KY. Everyone enjoyed him. He is not only a tremendous athlete, but also an exceptional student (NHS). Later, I attended his college games as did several UHA people. Although I am younger, UHA is a family atmosphere. Eventually, I completed 2 degrees from Vanderbilt University (SEC school). Mike was a fierce competitor against great players. As a medical professional, I encountered Derrick Wilcox, a former Louisville PRP high school stand out and Vanderbilt player. He held Mike in high regard as a player and person as well. Anyone in the US who enjoyed real college basketball remembers Mike's contributions!
